Our Founder
Yoni Ginor founded Pangea with a lifelong connection to the food industry and a mission to build the next great acquisition platform for founder-led food businesses.

He grew up in a branded food manufacturing family and later graduated from Wharton before spending a decade in private equity and hedge funds. During that time, he helped scale Echo Street Capital from $1 billion to $15 billion in assets under management. Yoni brings deep operational and investing experience, trusted relationships across the food value chain, and a passion for building enduring businesses.
He named Pangea after a formative year traveling through Southeast Asia and South America—where connections over food inspired his belief that the right partnerships can bring people, ideas, and opportunity together. That’s what he’s building at Pangea.

Hudson Valley Farms: Hudson Valley Farms is a vertically integrated food manufacturer focused on premium proteins and specialty ingredients. The company produces high-end duck and chicken products, and also co-manufactures broths, rendered fats, and sauces for leading culinary brands. Hudson Valley is owned by the Ginor family and is closely affiliated with Pangea, offering operational infrastructure and manufacturing expertise to support platform growth.
